Drunk at the helm

This is the song i’ve spent all day learning to play at open mic nights after exams and it’s going really well, 
It’s a great song and the subject thomas paine wrote some of the most important political texts in history and he wrote them in plain english and published them so cheap everyone could afford to own a copy, he wrote against monarchy and the dominance of the political classes and inspired revolutionaries across the world and his work the rights of man was very influential on the american revolution, but he died penniless and disowned in america, when his bones were sent back to england for burial they were lost and never found.
He’s one of my political heroes and quite frankly the rights of man parts one and two still apply as damningly as they did in the 1700’s.
